We contacted Cool Vu to quote and install UV/heat blocking film to all 7 of our upstairs south-facing windows. Andrew was knowledgeable, quiet as a mouse and so thorough. We’ve never had anyone enter our home, perform an installation of any kind inside or out and actually leave the area as clean as he found it. This is rare! The film blocks so much heat and sun bleaching is a thing of the past. This product and company are terrific.

We recently used CoolVu of Minneapolis Northwest for a couple projects on our home windows. First, we had the windows around the front door frosted to give privacy and stop our dog from barking at everyone going by. Then, we had all of our other windows tinted to block the heat. We couldn't believe how fast we could truly tell a difference. It will be an added bonus that it will also protect our furniture and floors from sun fading. The installer picked up a corner of our rug and it sadly showed that our floors have already started to fade. Speaking of the installer, he was very knowledgeable with product information, very detailed during instal and all around professional. He didn't rush us on our decision and really helped point us to the right films that best achieved what we wanted. We compared to all other companies in the area and CoolVu's films were the most affordable but quality was still just as high, if not higher. This is an investment to our home that we should have made a long time ago but we are so happy we have now! They made this whole process so easy and we couldn't be more satisfied! I met Nissa at the SLC Home Show and was able to set up an appointment for the upcoming week. She was able to show us samples on the windows so we could compare what would be best for our particular lighting needs. A couple of weeks later she and one of her employees installed our selection and the windows look great. It has been rainy most of the days since they did the installation so we can't really say too much about the film itself, but their customer service was definitely a five star experience.
This one window faces west and radiates so much heat. It was hard to be near the window during the summer. After the tinting, it is so much cooler. Jon was efficient and pleasant when it came to doing the job. Will absolutely use him again.

We hired CoolVu to remove tinted window film off 7 of our very large windows. Luke came and did the estimate and ultimately the removal. Casey Nearing is very knowledgeable about the various glass coatings. I didn't realize there were so many different options. From ballistic to shatter protection to thermal protection. He is my "go to" guy for glass coatings.
Casey with CoolVu Nashville was very professional and flexible with both our estimate and scheduling of service. He was very confident in their product and installation process. The only issue we had was the final cost. When we received the estimate we thought this was the total cost. We did add on a door which made it higher, but we knew that was coming. Upon completion we received an electronic bill which was higher than we expected. Casey explained that he added the tax. Maybe I overlooked this, but to me this should have been added into the estimate from the beginning. Overall we were very pleased from start to finish. I would only suggest the estimate include any and all costs surrounding the job, to include taxes.

I have a national account and we needed expert local assistance with one of their properties. Glare and Heat was and issue. Luke with CoolVu installed a nice medium film. This toned down the glare and greatly reduced the heat. The glass makes the retail floor look warm and inviting. You can still see through the windows from the outside which my client likes. Sometimes a dark and shiny film does the job but CoolVu's Dual Reflective 25&35% did the best job. Client was happy, I was happy and we left the project with a good feeling. CoolVu Ogden helped us solve a privacy issue with the three large ground-level windows facing our back yard. They discussed several options with us and we decided to use a black film with tiny perforations. This lets us see out well during daylight but helps keep backyard guests from seeing inside at night.Jess and Andrea were very knowledgeable, prompt, they communicated well with us, their pricing was very reasonable and the installation was fantastic. Love living on the water, but boy the glare can be brutal. A neighbor had recommended CoolVu window film they had installed in their home, so I called and made an appointment. The duo, Kacey and Lucas, of this CoolVu operation are both exceptional in knowledge, communication and work quality. Without much knowledge on my end and many questions to feel confident in the products, Kacey answered all of my many inquiries particularly with which of the various films were best applicable for my use. Marcus knows his application process without exception. I learned he has family history many years back that were in the window tint business as well as he has been applying films for a variety of applications for several years. There is no indication my windows have film applied, as in bubbles or lifting, etc, and Marcus completed several windows. The product I chose was the Signature Clear and it is an appealing medium tint and clearly reduced the outdoor glare. We tried installing some frosted film on the door for privacy in our new home, only to realize the windows already had a tinted film on them so ours wouldn't lay flat and we couldn't get the bubbles out.Phil from CoolVu did an awesome job removing our attempt, the previous owners tinted layer and installing a new matte white layer that looks great. Excellent service and great product. The back of house faces west so it gets the heat at the worst time. The film made a huge difference with glare on TV and has made home much cooler.

I had CoolVu out to my home in Delafield and all i can say is WOW! From Bid to job completion it was a pleasure to deal with CoolVu. I was having heat issues because I have so many windows on my home. They helped me understand all the products and which ones would benefit me the most. I went with two different films for my home. First I went with a completely clear film that reduces insane amounts of heat, but allows me to keep my gorgeous views. The second film, which I put on almost the entirety of the house was a transitional film. Yes, just as you would think glasses/sunglasses, this film does that to the windows in your home. It's been a month and I wanted to see how well the film did on reducing my energy bill.... This past 30 days have been some very warm days.... yep, my energy bill was lower than the previous month! Not just by a few dollars, it was down over $250!!! It is already paying for itself. Thank you to CoolVu and their installers, they did a phenomenal job!!!

I called Cool Vu and spoke with Josh on a Monday to install tinting on 3 windows and a double door at our store. They came out the next day on Tuesday and provided the estimate and by the end of that day we scheduled the work to be done the next day! Very responsive company. When they arrived to do the work it was on-time and very professional. They did a GREAT job and we are extremely pleased with them.One other note: The Technician who did the work had to re-do one window panel because there was a small rip in the vinyl, which he re-did completely on his own without us having to point it out. That shows care in doing your job!!

We had an issue at the time of the installation where our front doorbell wasn't working properly inside the house and we didn't hear Billy come. He tried to reach us multiple times. One side of my house faces directly South and the back side faces West. The sun beats in through the southside windows, during the day, and my office is on that side. It would get upwards of 85 degrees in my office. Once Coolvu came out and did my windows in my office, it now does not get above 79. It is a remarkable difference.On the back side of my house, facing due west, I have 4 very large windows and from 5pm to 7pm the sun would blind the TV, so you could not see it, even with the blinds closed. It also got very hot in those rooms as well. Coolvu took care of those windows as well and I have no more problemsThe employees who came to my house were the nicest people I have ever worked with and it was a pleasure to get to talk with them. I had them install the transitional tint for UV protection.Before installing the product, James gave me a demonstration showing what the tint would look like with and without the sunlight which was nice to see. The team was great to work with. They put film on a window that ended up having a dirt smudge in between the panes. I had to have the window replaced, then they came back and redid the film, fixed a film defect on a different window they had already done (appreciate businesses that stand behind their work), then did two more windows I asked them to do that morning. Film will protect our furniture and my elk mount from the UV rays.

The windows on our home had a 3-M product installed by previous owners presumably to help with UV protection. For the last several years, the Southern facing windows started to develop bubbles and cloudiness and put off a terrible smell. Turns out that the after-market product doesn't last forever and we called CoolVu to help diagnose the problem and propose a solution. Chu and Billy were very responsive and pleasant to work with and had a proposal in our hands a few hours after they accessed the problem. They successfully removed the old film and our windows look brand new and clear again. We were so pleased with the professionalism and friendly service and found their price to be reasonable.

I had such a wonderful experience with CoolVu. The owner Cliff came out within two days of my initial contact, to measure all of the windows in my home to draft a proper estimate.The measurement day, Cliff was assisted by his team of Bex and Josh. Josh provided and discussed with me the various options to meet my window protection goals, and I was able to find the perfect film to block the UV damage potentially entering my home. Bex worked with Cliff to expertly measure every single window pane that I wanted addressed. All in they measured 77 total window panes!That very same evening I received my proposal and was able to consider the various options presented to me. And after a few follow up calls with both Cliff and Josh I submitted my deposit and they ordered my desired product.The next day Bex was schedule to begin preparing the windows for treatment. This consisted of ensuring each window was cleaned thoroughly and in the case of the older windows properly scraped and cleared of old paint and caulking.A couple of days later the windows were all prepared and the window film was cut and being installed. The installation process took a couple of days through which Cliff clearly communicated when the team would be arriving and accommodated my requests to work around my schedule. Upon their competition I reviewed all of the windows and only found one spec that got caught under the film. They had enough reserve in the truck to replace it on that spot and did so with no questions.In summary, I cannot speak highly enough of the experience I received. The communication was wonderful, the timing was prompt and efficient, the team was very professional and friendly, and the window film comes with a warranty that I don't expect to ever need to use. When we had our kitchen remodeled recently, the sunroom wall was knocked down to expand the space. While we love all the light the extra windows are brining into the remodeled kitchen, it was extremely bright in the morning hours. We are happy that we went with CoolVu! We contacted Cool Vu to quote and install UV/heat blocking film to all 7 of our upstairs south-facing windows. Andrew was knowledgeable, quiet as a mouse and so thorough. We recently used CoolVu of Minneapolis Northwest for a couple projects on our home windows. First, we had the windows around the front door frosted to give privacy and stop our dog from barking at everyone going by. Then, we had all of our other windows tinted to block the heat. We couldn't believe how fast we could truly tell a difference. It will be an added bonus that it will also protect our furniture and floors from sun fading. The installer picked up a corner of our rug and it sadly showed that our floors have already started to fade. Speaking of the installer, he was very knowledgeable with product information, very detailed during instal and all around professional. He didn't rush us on our decision and really helped point us to the right films that best achieved what we wanted. We compared to all other companies in the area and CoolVu's films were the most affordable but quality was still just as high, if not higher. This is an investment to our home that we should have made a long time ago but we are so happy we have now! They made this whole process so easy and we couldn't be more satisfied! I met Nissa at the SLC Home Show and was able to set up an appointment for the upcoming week. She was able to show us samples on the windows so we could compare what would be best for our particular lighting needs. A couple of weeks later she and one of her employees installed our selection and the windows look great. It has been rainy most of the days since they did the installation so we can't really say too much about the film itself, but their customer service was definitely a five star experience.
This one window faces west and radiates so much heat. It was hard to be near the window during the summer. After the tinting, it is so much cooler. Jon was efficient and pleasant when it came to doing the job. Will absolutely use him again.

We hired CoolVu to remove tinted window film off 7 of our very large windows. Luke came and did the estimate and ultimately the removal. Casey with CoolVu Nashville was very professional and flexible with both our estimate and scheduling of service. He was very confident in their product and installation process. The only issue we had was the final cost. When we received the estimate we thought this was the total cost. We did add on a door which made it higher, but we knew that was coming. Upon completion we received an electronic bill which was higher than we expected. Casey explained that he added the tax. Maybe I overlooked this, but to me this should have been added into the estimate from the beginning. Overall we were very pleased from start to finish. I would only suggest the estimate include any and all costs surrounding the job, to include taxes.

I have a national account and we needed expert local assistance with one of their properties. Glare and Heat was and issue. Luke with CoolVu installed a nice medium film. This toned down the glare and greatly reduced the heat. The glass makes the retail floor look warm and inviting. You can still see through the windows from the outside which my client likes. Sometimes a dark and shiny film does the job but CoolVu's Dual Reflective 25&35% did the best job. Client was happy, I was happy and we left the project with a good feeling. CoolVu Ogden helped us solve a privacy issue with the three large ground-level windows facing our back yard. They discussed several options with us and we decided to use a black film with tiny perforations. Love living on the water, but boy the glare can be brutal. A neighbor had recommended CoolVu window film they had installed in their home, so I called and made an appointment. Simply put, it was a well deserved recommendation and I am thrilled with the result. Nicole & David (the owners) were amazing. They had a very consultative approach for making sure we were getting the right film for our windows based on our needs to reduce UV exposure as we have older windows that don’t have any uv protection. Luke was polite and professional from the free quote and assessment to the completion of our window tint. We opted for the mirror tint so that one could not see inside while driving by our house. The duo, Kacey and Lucas, of this CoolVu operation are both exceptional in knowledge, communication and work quality. Without much knowledge on my end and many questions to feel confident in the products, Kacey answered all of my many inquiries particularly with which of the various films were best applicable for my use. Marcus knows his application process without exception. I learned he has family history many years back that were in the window tint business as well as he has been applying films for a variety of applications for several years. There is no indication my windows have film applied, as in bubbles or lifting, etc, and Marcus completed several windows. The product I chose was the Signature Clear and it is an appealing medium tint and clearly reduced the outdoor glare. I would not hesitate to recommend this CoolVu operation and also appreciate the very accommodating warranties.

We tried installing some frosted film on the door for privacy in our new home, only to realize the windows already had a tinted film on them so ours wouldn't lay flat and we couldn't get the bubbles out.Phil from CoolVu did an awesome job removing our attempt, the previous owners tinted layer and installing a new matte white layer that looks great. He did a great job of explaining the intricacies of the job and various options during the quote and did well to work around some of the unknowns after he got into it. Definitely recommend!

I had CoolVu out to my home in Delafield and all i can say is WOW! From Bid to job completion it was a pleasure to deal with CoolVu. I was having heat issues because I have so many windows on my home. They helped me understand all the products and which ones would benefit me the most. I went with two different films for my home. First I went with a completely clear film that reduces insane amounts of heat, but allows me to keep my gorgeous views. The second film, which I put on almost the entirety of the house was a transitional film. Yes, just as you would think glasses/sunglasses, this film does that to the windows in your home. It's been a month and I wanted to see how well the film did on reducing my energy bill.... This past 30 days have been some very warm days.... yep, my energy bill was lower than the previous month! Not just by a few dollars, it was down over $250!!! It is already paying for itself. Thank you to CoolVu and their installers, they did a phenomenal job!!!

After selecting an option to reduce heat and glare from the sun light they were back to install soon after. There ended up being a small issue with one of the windows and he personally seen to it that it was immediately resolved. I appreciate that even more because I know that I will be taken care of in the future if anything should happen to arise, just as he promised when he chose to give him our business. Thanks

I called Cool Vu and spoke with Josh on a Monday to install tinting on 3 windows and a double door at our store. They came out the next day on Tuesday and provided the estimate and by the end of that day we scheduled the work to be done the next day! Very responsive company. When they arrived to do the work it was on-time and very professional. They did a GREAT job and we are extremely pleased with them.One other note: The Technician who did the work had to re-do one window panel because there was a small rip in the vinyl, which he re-did completely on his own without us having to point it out. One side of my house faces directly South and the back side faces West. The sun beats in through the southside windows, during the day, and my office is on that side. It would get upwards of 85 degrees in my office. Once Coolvu came out and did my windows in my office, it now does not get above 79. It is a remarkable difference.On the back side of my house, facing due west, I have 4 very large windows and from 5pm to 7pm the sun would blind the TV, so you could not see it, even with the blinds closed. It also got very hot in those rooms as well. Coolvu took care of those windows as well and I have no more problemsThe employees who came to my house were the nicest people I have ever worked with and it was a pleasure to get to talk with them. The team was great to work with. They put film on a window that ended up having a dirt smudge in between the panes. I had to have the window replaced, then they came back and redid the film, fixed a film defect on a different window they had already done (appreciate businesses that stand behind their work), then did two more windows I asked them to do that morning. Film will protect our furniture and my elk mount from the UV rays.

Chu and Billy were very responsive and pleasant to work with and had a proposal in our hands a few hours after they accessed the problem. They successfully removed the old film and our windows look brand new and clear again. We were so pleased with the professionalism and friendly service and found their price to be reasonable.

We have vaulted ceilings and the tops of our large windows let in a lot of harsh evening sun. They're too weird of a shape for blinds, so tinting seemed like the best course. We are so happy we went with CoolVu. The finished product works perfectly, and they were so easy to work with!

Terrific company, product, service and people. Called to get an estimate for a transparent window film on a back porch window that my cats sit in front of to watch the world. AJ from CoolVu showed up the next day, took some measurements and gave us a reasonable quote (for materials and installation). We changed the order after the quote, but AJ came through quickly, his team showed up today- two very pleasant young guys, and did an impeccable job. You cannot see the film or seams at all. It's transparent and intended more to inhibit smash and grab (and in my case, to better protect against the possibility of a coyote going through the window to eat my cats, call me paranoid).Now thinking about doing additional windows. I had such a wonderful experience with CoolVu. The owner Cliff came out within two days of my initial contact, to measure all of the windows in my home to draft a proper estimate.The measurement day, Cliff was assisted by his team of Bex and Josh. Josh provided and discussed with me the various options to meet my window protection goals, and I was able to find the perfect film to block the UV damage potentially entering my home. Bex worked with Cliff to expertly measure every single window pane that I wanted addressed. All in they measured 77 total window panes!That very same evening I received my proposal and was able to consider the various options presented to me. And after a few follow up calls with both Cliff and Josh I submitted my deposit and they ordered my desired product.The next day Bex was schedule to begin preparing the windows for treatment. This consisted of ensuring each window was cleaned thoroughly and in the case of the older windows properly scraped and cleared of old paint and caulking.A couple of days later the windows were all prepared and the window film was cut and being installed. The installation process took a couple of days through which Cliff clearly communicated when the team would be arriving and accommodated my requests to work around my schedule. Upon their competition I reviewed all of the windows and only found one spec that got caught under the film. They had enough reserve in the truck to replace it on that spot and did so with no questions.In summary, I cannot speak highly enough of the experience I received. The communication was wonderful, the timing was prompt and efficient, the team was very professional and friendly, and the window film comes with a warranty that I don't expect to ever need to use. Definitely give this wonderful team a call if you are considering window film for your home or business.

AJay and Ray were very professional and did a great job on my door. The door had 9 separate windows on it and provided no privacy to the inside of my home. Now the door has a frost film on the glass and is exactly what I was looking for. CoolVu did a very good job and and the quality of the film seems very high quality. The UV Rays were bleaching out the fabrics on our floor and the heat from the windows was driving up my electric bills.We met the owners of Cool Vu of middle TN at the Murfreesboro Home Show. Two days later they were in our showroom, measuring. The next day we received a quote with all of the options we discussed. They answered all of my questions and were out to install the following week!Not only is the heat significantly reduced from the windows, the outside looks much better with the tinted windows!We are VERY happy with the product, pricing, and especially the level of professionalism. I had two bedroom windows and a front door glass tinted. Concerns for tint colors were meet with options as I didn’t want windows blacked out like car windows. Bedroom faces west and I am pleased with the heat reduction the tint has provided.

What sold me initially was the speed (less than a week from ordering to installation) and cost: about 2/3 of what other contractors charge. The product is of high quality, probably on par with 3M.Lucas’s cousin, Yann, installed the film. He has the process down to perfection and does things at dizzying speed. He was friendly and spared no details about window films: how they work and how they are installed.Quick, professional, and friendly is how I would characterize this firm. When we had our kitchen remodeled recently, the sunroom wall was knocked down to expand the space. While we love all the light the extra windows are brining into the remodeled kitchen, it was extremely bright in the morning hours. We are happy that we went with CoolVu! It has definitely reduced the glare and I think it has also helped in cooling the kitchen as well. Consultation rep was knowledge and helpful. Installation was quick once it was scheduled. Overall, great service and product!
CoolVu of Middle Tennessee was amazing! My front door and windows get the afternoon sun. I had the transitional film put on my front door and windows. It not only blocked out the glare but also cut down the heat from the windows. They were fast and professional. No complaints here, even saved on my electric bill!! Highly recommend!
