We recently used CoolVu of Minneapolis Northwest for a couple projects on our home windows. First, we had the windows around the front door frosted to give privacy and stop our dog from barking at everyone going by. Then, we had all of our other windows tinted to block the heat. We couldn't believe how fast we could truly tell a difference. It will be an added bonus that it will also protect our furniture and floors from sun fading. The installer picked up a corner of our rug and it sadly showed that our floors have already started to fade. Speaking of the installer, he was very knowledgeable with product information, very detailed during instal and all around professional. He didn't rush us on our decision and really helped point us to the right films that best achieved what we wanted. We compared to all other companies in the area and CoolVu's films were the most affordable but quality was still just as high, if not higher. This is an investment to our home that we should have made a long time ago but we are so happy we have now! They made this whole process so easy and we couldn't be more satisfied! We hired CoolVu to remove tinted window film off 7 of our very large windows. Luke came and did the estimate and ultimately the removal. Nelly was able to come in for a consult same day (she is amazing!) and was patient with me as I reviewed the samples. She was also able to book the install within the same week! The price came in below my other quote from another company. The install staff were nice, hard working, and detailed during the install. The last tenant left horrible black sheeting all over the windows and the team removed it (it looked difficult and I definitely didn’t want to do it myself). The frosted glass looks amazing and is very functional for my business. Highly recommend!

I have a national account and we needed expert local assistance with one of their properties. Glare and Heat was and issue. Luke with CoolVu installed a nice medium film. This toned down the glare and greatly reduced the heat. The glass makes the retail floor look warm and inviting. You can still see through the windows from the outside which my client likes. Sometimes a dark and shiny film does the job but CoolVu's Dual Reflective 25&35% did the best job. Client was happy, I was happy and we left the project with a good feeling. Nice work guys, will call you with the next opportunity!

We tried installing some frosted film on the door for privacy in our new home, only to realize the windows already had a tinted film on them so ours wouldn't lay flat and we couldn't get the bubbles out.Phil from CoolVu did an awesome job removing our attempt, the previous owners tinted layer and installing a new matte white layer that looks great. We had an issue at the time of the installation where our front doorbell wasn't working properly inside the house and we didn't hear Billy come. He tried to reach us multiple times. About an About an hour and 15 minutes later, we realized what it happened and despite being 45 minutes away, Billy turned around and returned. One side of my house faces directly South and the back side faces West. The sun beats in through the southside windows, during the day, and my office is on that side. It would get upwards of 85 degrees in my office. Once Coolvu came out and did my windows in my office, it now does not get above 79. It is a remarkable difference.On the back side of my house, facing due west, I have 4 very large windows and from 5pm to 7pm the sun would blind the TV, so you could not see it, even with the blinds closed. It also got very hot in those rooms as well. Coolvu took care of those windows as well and I have no more problemsThe employees who came to my house were the nicest people I have ever worked with and it was a pleasure to get to talk with them. Hired CoolVu to put in a film in my new candle shop to protect my candles & products! I received quotes from multiple companies and their pricing was the best and I liked the product specs best for what I needed. The rear of our home is full western facing, and the film installed cuts down the heat significantly. Looking forward to lower AC bills this summer! I had them install the transitional tint for UV protection.Before installing the product, James gave me a demonstration showing what the tint would look like with and without the sunlight which was nice to see. Richard and his crew applied heat control film on almost 100 windows for our building at New Century. The films work great and have really made a difference in all of our offices. This summer will be way more comfortable and we will save a bundle on our air conditioning.
We were experiencing damage to grass, plants, and vehicle trim from reflective window heat. Phil responded to our inquiry promptly, visited our property to observe the problem, researched the type of film needed to correct the problem, and explained the process thoroughly. The film was installed professionally and the work was completed in a timely manner. The recommendation provided by Phil/CoolVu was correct and the situation was resolved.
The team was great to work with. They put film on a window that ended up having a dirt smudge in between the panes. I had to have the window replaced, then they came back and redid the film, fixed a film defect on a different window they had already done (appreciate businesses that stand behind their work), then did two more windows I asked them to do that morning. Film will protect our furniture and my elk mount from the UV rays.

The windows on our home had a 3-M product installed by previous owners presumably to help with UV protection. For the last several years, the Southern facing windows started to develop bubbles and cloudiness and put off a terrible smell. We recently used CoolVu of Minneapolis Northwest for a couple projects on our home windows. First, we had the windows around the front door frosted to give privacy and stop our dog from barking at everyone going by. Then, we had all of our other windows tinted to block the heat. We couldn't believe how fast we could truly tell a difference. It will be an added bonus that it will also protect our furniture and floors from sun fading. The installer picked up a corner of our rug and it sadly showed that our floors have already started to fade. Speaking of the installer, he was very knowledgeable with product information, very detailed during instal and all around professional. He didn't rush us on our decision and really helped point us to the right films that best achieved what we wanted. We compared to all other companies in the area and CoolVu's films were the most affordable but quality was still just as high, if not higher. This is an investment to our home that we should have made a long time ago but we are so happy we have now! They made this whole process so easy and we couldn't be more satisfied! We hired CoolVu to remove tinted window film off 7 of our very large windows. Luke came and did the estimate and ultimately the removal. He was a very nice young man, was punctual, polite and very knowledgeable. He did a thorough clean up once the work was completed, removed all his equipment (ladders, etc.) and came back in to vacuum again to ensure no remnants of his work was left behind. Nelly was able to come in for a consult same day (she is amazing!) and was patient with me as I reviewed the samples. She was also able to book the install within the same week! The price came in below my other quote from another company. The install staff were nice, hard working, and detailed during the install. The last tenant left horrible black sheeting all over the windows and the team removed it (it looked difficult and I definitely didn’t want to do it myself). I have a national account and we needed expert local assistance with one of their properties. Glare and Heat was and issue. Luke with CoolVu installed a nice medium film. This toned down the glare and greatly reduced the heat. The glass makes the retail floor look warm and inviting. You can still see through the windows from the outside which my client likes. Sometimes a dark and shiny film does the job but CoolVu's Dual Reflective 25&35% did the best job. Client was happy, I was happy and we left the project with a good feeling. Very pleased with Cool Vu! The entire process was very efficient from estimating to installation to invoicing. Very clean installation! They had a very consultative approach for making sure we were getting the right film for our windows based on our needs to reduce UV exposure as we have older windows that don’t have any uv protection. Completely professional operation. From quoting out windows, to providing information on the different window-treatment offerings. Was prompt, worked efficiently and was very respectful of our home. As more and more windows were completed we were able to notice a cooling of what is a East/West facing home. Now that all the windows are done you can notice the difference in temperature. We tried installing some frosted film on the door for privacy in our new home, only to realize the windows already had a tinted film on them so ours wouldn't lay flat and we couldn't get the bubbles out.Phil from CoolVu did an awesome job removing our attempt, the previous owners tinted layer and installing a new matte white layer that looks great. He did a great job of explaining the intricacies of the job and various options during the quote and did well to work around some of the unknowns after he got into it. Definitely recommend!

One side of my house faces directly South and the back side faces West. The sun beats in through the southside windows, during the day, and my office is on that side. It would get upwards of 85 degrees in my office. Once Coolvu came out and did my windows in my office, it now does not get above 79. It is a remarkable difference.On the back side of my house, facing due west, I have 4 very large windows and from 5pm to 7pm the sun would blind the TV, so you could not see it, even with the blinds closed. It also got very hot in those rooms as well. Coolvu took care of those windows as well and I have no more problemsThe employees who came to my house were the nicest people I have ever worked with and it was a pleasure to get to talk with them. Hired CoolVu to put in a film in my new candle shop to protect my candles & products! I cannot say enough wonderful comments about the CoolVu Greater Charlotte area team. Professional, on-time and stellar work with extreme attention to detail. The rear of our home is full western facing, and the film installed cuts down the heat significantly. Looking forward to lower AC bills this summer! Additionally, our home was being renovated (we are not staying in the home), and for installation, this team worked around our contractor coming into install on a Saturday. Our HOA does not allow any vendors in on Sundays, and this was a two-day job. The CoolVu Greater Charlotte area team arrived at 8am on Saturday and completed the work in one day by staying until after 10pm! Their personal time sacrifice allowed our contractor to keep the projects moving to hit our move-in date.Would highly recommend this product as well as this team!
Chu and Billy were amazing to work with! They were professional and very knowledgeable about their products! We love having the extra sense of security of the blast retention window films on our back door and windows. We also love the window films we put on our office windows. We get direct sunlight shining through the windows all day long so it is nice to have protection. We highly recommend CoolVu.
James and Jack did a great job adding film to 15 panes of glass at my house. I had them install the transitional tint for UV protection.Before installing the product, James gave me a demonstration showing what the tint would look like with and without the sunlight which was nice to see. I'm happy with the results. The film edges are straight and the solution works as advertised.

Richard and his crew applied heat control film on almost 100 windows for our building at New Century. The films work great and have really made a difference in all of our offices. This summer will be way more comfortable and we will save a bundle on our air conditioning.
We were experiencing damage to grass, plants, and vehicle trim from reflective window heat. Phil responded to our inquiry promptly, visited our property to observe the problem, researched the type of film needed to correct the problem, and explained the process thoroughly. The film was installed professionally and the work was completed in a timely manner. The recommendation provided by Phil/CoolVu was correct and the situation was resolved.
The team was great to work with. They put film on a window that ended up having a dirt smudge in between the panes. I had to have the window replaced, then they came back and redid the film, fixed a film defect on a different window they had already done (appreciate businesses that stand behind their work), then did two more windows I asked them to do that morning. Film will protect our furniture and my elk mount from the UV rays.

This company is fantastic. The pricing was reasonable and not too expensive. We had a great experience from beginning to end! Our windows had a terrible, old purple tinting that needed to be removed. They came in and removed the old film, and it looks like we have brand new windows. I’m so impressed. I will be calling this company to re-tint our windows in the near future.
With the increase in break in attempts in our neighborhood we had CoolVu install clear security films on our glass doors and windows as an additional layer of protection and reduce heat inside our home at the same time. The windows on our home had a 3-M product installed by previous owners presumably to help with UV protection. For the last several years, the Southern facing windows started to develop bubbles and cloudiness and put off a terrible smell. Turns out that the after-market product doesn't last forever and we called CoolVu to help diagnose the problem and propose a solution. Chu and Billy were very responsive and pleasant to work with and had a proposal in our hands a few hours after they accessed the problem. They successfully removed the old film and our windows look brand new and clear again. We were so pleased with the professionalism and friendly service and found their price to be reasonable.

I had two bedroom windows and a front door glass tinted. Concerns for tint colors were meet with options as I didn’t want windows blacked out like car windows. Bedroom faces west and I am pleased with the heat reduction the tint has provided.
